Lawton Winery
Overview:  Lawton Wines are estate grown. The vineyard is on the south slope of Chehalem Mountains, located between 700 and 800 feet above sea level. The site has a 10% slope to the south. This elevation gives a cool site, producing grapes that are fruit- forward and well balanced. The pinot noir is fermented in small open topped bins, and cellared in French, Hungarian and Oregon oak barrels. Current production: Pinot Noir -- 450, Riesling – 175 cases per year. Our goal is to produce handcrafted wines that are true to type, while showing the unique characteristics (terroir) of our site.
